Creating this luxurious master bath required completely redefining the existing space and adding dynamic architectural features. This couple wanted a calming, spa-like retreat, while providing them with more function and storage. Their wish list included a large two-person shower and tub, full length dressing mirror, separate toilet room with storage, improved lighting, and a view of the television from the vanities and tub. Incorporating the numerous existing windows and skylight into the new design of this elongated space proved challenging. Constructing custom cabinetry allowed the television to be integrated into the corner structure between the two vanities. Lighting became an integral part of the design not only in function, but also in accentuating the varied materials and architectural features.
With the success of the master bath transformation, the homeowners decided to renovate the other two bathrooms as well. Both were designed with a unique identity while keeping that similar spa-like feel their guests can enjoy.
